About the Class

Dreams are meaningful. They are messages from the deep.

Although they are designed to teach, they speak in riddles.

There is good reason for this.

A dream can only be understood from a new level of awareness.

As Jung explains, “Dreams are as simple or as complicated as the dreamer is himself, only they are always a little bit ahead of the dreamer's consciousness.” Or, as Marie-Louise von Franz puts it, “Dreams don't waste much spit telling us what we already know.”

We know when we have understood a dream when we experience the “Aha!” reaction.

Suddenly, the dream makes sense. There has been an awakening, a creation of consciousness.

Herein lies the value of Dream Analysis. Once we devote ourselves to deciphering their message, our dreams lead us on a unique journey beyond the confines of our current consciousness.

Jung called this development the process of Individuation.
Individuation is a natural process, whereby we realise and achieve our innate potential.

We all evolve over time. Dream Analysis accelerates this process by confronting us with our shadows and our ignorance.

Dream Analysis is a rewarding yet confronting process. Our dreams will present out shadow and our ignorance. The ego-structure is pushed through a process of review. Transformation is required.

In this session, we will explore the nature and purpose of dreams and include a practical demonstration of working through actual dreams.
