The Warrior
$
Despised by the other gods, Ares was a much-maligned god in Greek mythology. In Roman myth, however, he was second only to Jupiter. Psychologically, the warrior archetype follows a similar fate. He may be honoured or despised. Currently, he tends to be repressed, and not without consequence.
Through a reading of the fairytale, Iron John, this seminar will explore how the warrior archetype may be denied as well as developed.
