The planetary placements of a horoscope do not exist in isolation, rather they are placed in aspect to each other. These aspects are reflected in the tensions and alliances of the various archetypal forces at play within the psyche.

For example, hard aspects between the Sun and Saturn result in a battle between adopting a creative or more conventional focus. Venus in opposition to Mars can result in a struggle between being civil and forthright. Often one archetype will dominate, while the other is eclipsed, ignored and is, subsequently undeveloped.

As Jung explains, however, what we fail to meet and engage within ourselves, we meet instead in our fate. Our inner dynamics are played out in the seemingly the external drama of our lives.

In this session we will explore a range of polarities that one is liable to encounter based on the aspects of one’s horoscopes. For this session you will need your personal horoscope with the various aspects identified.
